The American Indian has long been known for their earth based wisdom, natural life style, and their belief in the connections all things have, that make us brothers before Creator.

In a very special way, Native Americans maintain that our connections to the earth and to all things that are involved in its present form... stretches well beyond a simple determination of which things are animate and which things are not. Their reference, while in many different languages and tongues, comes down to the simple concept of what they phrase as "all my relations". The western world sees "relations" as blood relatives; like brothers, sister, aunts, uncles, and cousins... Native Americana sees "relations" as any member of what they call the Sacred Hoop. Literally speaking... they mean that if it exists on this planet, in any form, it is endowed with a distinct but hidden relationship to every other thing that exists here too. There is no special distinction between things that breathe and things that do not... nor is there any special treatment for things that are animate verses things that are not.. All are equal in the eyes of the Master of Life.

Hearts in an enjoyable card game that is also easy to learn. The game offers modifiable rules and variations that serve to enhance the game. This article would deal only with the basic rules and look at some fundamental strategies that could be employed when playing the game.

Hearts is an "evasion-type" trick-taking playing card game for four players, although variations can accommodate 3–6 players. The game is also known as The Dirty, Black Lady, Chase the Lady, Crubs, and Black Maria, though any of these may refer to the similar but differently-scored game Black Lady. The game is regarded as a member of the Whist family of trick-taking games (which also includes Bridge and Spades), but the game is unique among Whist variants in that it is an evasion-type game.

Put your goals into words. In addition to creating your goal corner and hanging a picture of your goal, you can complete the scene by adding your goal in words. So, for example, if you've created a marriage goal corner with a double fish symbol, a lamp with crystals, a red candle, and a picture of two people holding hands, all you need on the wall next to this is the word "Love" or "Forever" or "Commitment" or "Marriage."

The English noun people (singular "person") refers to a plurality of human beings. It has two usages:

• as the plural of person (in addition to the rarer plural, "persons") or a group of people (grammatically, a suppletive plural and collective noun; e.g. "some people are..."), or otherwise for groups with particular unifying traits, qualities, properties, or characteristics (e.g. the people of Spain, or the people of the Plains).
• as a singular for an indefinite ethnic group or nation (e.g. "a people is...")

Because the word people often refers to abstract and general types of groups, the word persons is sometimes used in place of people, especially when it would be ambiguous with its collective sense (e.g. missing persons instead of people). It can collectively refer to all humans or it can be used to identify a certain ethnic or religious group. For example, "people of color" is a phrase used in North America to describe non-whites.
